Shockoe Bottom Arts Center has moved to Petersburg and we
have a great gallery for events.
The Art Center's (8,000 square feet) gallery on the first floor is where your event will be held. You may have a band or DJ and pick your own caterer.
The studios will be open and your guest may roam the entire art center. Your guests are your responsibility. Every guest must be an invited guest, no open to the public parties.
RATES ( each rental includes one on-site staff person to handle site related questions only)
January - April
Monday - Thursday evening 2 pm - 11 pm - $400
Friday - Sunday evening 2 pm - 11 pm - 500
May - September
Monday - Thursday evening 2 pm - 11 pm - $400
Friday- Sunday evening 2 pm - 11 pm - $500
October - December
Monday - Thursday evening 2 pm - 11 pm - $400
Friday - Sunday evening 2 PM - 11 pm - $500
Note: if air conditioning is needed in April or October there will be a $100 fee
Should anyone stay on the premises after event is scheduled to end, the rate shall increase by $100 for each additional one-half hour or any part thereof.
Directions.
From Richmond take 95 S. to the Washington Street exit (Washington Street is a "One Way" street). Sycamore Street is the third light but the best parking is behind the building. Go to the fourth light, Union Street, and take a right. Our parking lot is one block on the right. (Across from Saint Paul's Church).
